I have seen the picture you suggested.

Back to the question, I would feel sorry to those Muslims. They believe that Islam is the religion of peace, yet they do the opposite. They would be bad ambassador of Islam for displaying a stuffed animal named Jesus.

By the was the U.S. is a secular state. The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits the establishment of a national religion by Congress or the preference of one religion over another, or religion over non-religion. Prior to the enactment of the Fourteenth Amendment, and for 60 years thereafter, the courts took the position that the substantive protections of the Bill of Rights did not apply to actions by state governments. Subsequently, under the "incorporation doctrine", certain selected provisions were applied to states. It was not, however, until the middle and later years of the twentieth century that the Supreme Court began to interpret the establishment and free exercise clauses in such a manner as to restrict substantially the promotion of religion by state governments.

No, I would not be insulted. Why would this be important to any particular individual?? I only mind my own business and unless a mosque displayed a stuffed doll that looked exactly like me (and maybe even then I might just find it funny and ignore it) I wouldn't care.

wrong.
some might be offended.

but not all.
jesus taught that we are to love our enemies and FORGIVE.

when he said love God, it made it the first commandment. and says the second is like unto it. love your neighbors.
he also said love your enemies and a soft answer turns aways wrath, but he also said you must forgive people and pray for them.

These are the first reactions ALL believers should respond with.
i have forgiven a lot of wickedness and turned the other cheek and i live in a kind of stasis of peace.
but the enemies of peace are billions. so i have also been in a state of tribulation now for almost 20 years.
i did pray for 7 years to die. and though i might have died and become reanimated more than once, i also began praying to God that my enemies would die.

but a stuffed animal doesnt offend because there are too many evils that personal Hurt me physically to worry about something imagined or rumored.

Truly it says God will not be mocked. im not saying that this particular verse is talking about jesus, but then again, jesus said: vengeance is mine. so if there is ANYTHING that Jesus can do! He will do it...

I would b angrey of the American freedom which made my God insulted although He was the same God as its. America gives Muslims freedom to build mosques and never asked Saudia Arabia to enable Christians to build Churches. That's weired.
I don't think Muslims can do that as they respect Jesus as a Prophit very much .
Again, if that happened that would be a Muslim expression of anger. I have to admit, i hate not Muslims. How can i hate those who i live with?

Good Luck!!

Thats not what happened in Sudan at all.

If I asked people here to name my teddy bear for me and then accepted their votes, should I lose my job, get 40 lashes, death threats, 6 months of jail time, and have to close down the school I worked in because of threats from a certain religious group because they were "offended", then that definitely is not right.

There is a huge difference between being offended by something someone does and expressing your displeasure versus extremely harsh and brutal punishment under the law along with threats of punishment by lawless mobs.

I don't see why anyone of any religion should become upset over the name of a stuff animal...I might think some names are in poor taste, but I certainly wouldn't be protesting in from of the mosque and asking for someone to be executed.

First of all the question should be what if a Moslem teacher in the West called a teddy bear Jesus.

Nothing.

Well I have decided today to change the name of my Cats one is going to be called Allah the other is going to called Mohammed. If you feel angry about that after reding this then good.

Mohammed's beleive it or else attitude well I'll have the or else cause you met somone who is not scared of you or your teddy bear prophet.

I think that is what you are teddy bears. Sadam was all mouth all shout the mother of all wars. Where did we find him in a hole in the ground. Where is you great Bin Laden hiding in a hole a cave. You hide behind women, dress as women come on form a army and fight like men come on I dare you fight like men. Or are you a bunch of teddy bears like your prophet.

No I would not be, I'm smart enough to figure out the reason was not anything bad. Besides, if I were going to be insulted, it would be by all the Jesus signs in peoples yards!

Greetings all,

First of all Islam is a false religion like Judaism and Christianity. Jesus Christ is the Son and Lamb of al-Lah, The One who was being worshiped by preIslam nations of the Middle East. Mohammad was a false prophet deceived by Gabriel who lied to one of the Mary's too. If Muslims were to acknowledge Jesus at all, even in a stuffed animal as long as it was not being abused, that would be a step in the right direction.

Christians do worse crucifying Him over and over every time they tell someone He died for the sins of the world. The Lamb of al-Lah was not a sacrifice for sins as Israel made Him out to be by Paul's lies, but guilty of the attempted murder of 2/3 of God and the murder of the flesh 1/3 was.

100% of God as 2/3 of Himself came to Israel as His own Son to tell them Jehovah was the devil and they did not listen! They were in the presence of the devil behind the veil and sacrificing to the devil, not "God"! Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God was not born from any virgin of flesh to fulfill a prophecy which was given concerning a false messiah by the devil.

It would not bother me because my God does not exist in an inanimate object. It's just a stuffed animal. In the U.S. people have little statues on their dashboard they call "Buddy Christ" which is actually a mockery of Jesus. I don't know of anyone being bashed for having one.

We know Jesus did not look like this (just as we know that He doesn't look like a stuffed animal), so I do not take offense.
