Would it make the actual breaking of it easier? i.e. if I chose steal, I could just walk into fort knox and take what I want because God fixes it for me? Do I still have to face all of the real consequences of doing it, like the police and legal system? If it's just exemption from punishment by God, then as no God exists to punish me, and all sins are unpunishable it doesn't matter.

Well God allowed Moses to smash all the 10 Commandments and then put them in the Ark of the Covenant, right?

In order for there to be consequences in the first place, one would have to be under that law, which no one is today. That covenant ended upon the death of the party of the first part, God in the personage of Jesus.

I don't see why it matters. I always break the first four "God" commandments anyway, and, if all sins are equal in the eyes of God, why should it make that much of a difference if I kill a man, free pass or no? And, if I repent afterwards, well...that's just gravy...

We are not under the 10 commandments anyway. If we were, we would also be under all the Mosaic Law, which we are not.

Is Gluttony one of them? I'd like to eat ice cream and chocolate and cakes all day long and not feel greedy.

It won't happen. God doesn't change. No chances, just absolutes. No grey area - all black and white. No "what ifs" with God.

Not a commandment but the vengeance admonition (vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord) .......that's a little hard to leave in his hands sometimes I will admit. :) Hard to wait so long for Justice.
