I have a rifle. it is old and and given to me by my grandfather. It is of unknown make and model. under the receiver is a stamp that reads RAYARD and has a little horseman over it. i suspect that it is the manufactureres mark, but i could not find any information. Any clues or suggestion on how i could find out?

If you can post a link to a pic, I'm sure someone here would know. Even a pic of just the receiver will do.

Type it in and do a search on it, something is going to pop up.*

take some close-up digital pics of the gun, showing any markings, then, take it to a gun show & ask the dealers, someone might know what you have
