That will be tough to answer. There are many Christians that are not protestant nor Catholic. Catholics call all other Christians Protestants, but this is incorrect. Protestant should refer to the Lutherans and the Church of England (mostly) and their offshoots. There are far more Christians that were never either.

the South has the highest religious population over all.
I believe most Protestants are in the South and most Catholics are in the North East and Mid West (Irish and Italian immigrants)

And there are Protestants in Europe.

Texas. & I would have to disagree with you about catholics.
While I am sure there are quite a few catholics that do have a relationship with Christ, most who call themselves so are not.
(this goes for alot of people who call themselves Christian also). Just because you say it is so, doesn't make it so.
Living for Christ is a daily thing. You are to imitate Christ.
I am not sure Christ went out drinking, had prematerial sex, smoked, did drugs ect. like I see alot of people who call themselves Catholic & Christian doing

I did this once. i wish I had saves the answer. The bible belt states are from 88-92% cChristian.
