My response to an earlier question regarding abortion:

"If Christians hate abortion so much, why do they continually block efforts at easier access to birth control and sexual education in schools?"

Was reported by another user who sent me the following email:

"We don't. This is a LIEberal misotheist lie.

Reported. "

Was my response really worthy of being reported because this guy (who doesn't allow emails so I couldn't even ask him about this) doesn't like my answer? Was my answer exuding a "misotheist" air?

SR,
I do not agree with the Murder/Abortion of the unborn but I also do not agree with the type of attitude this person has. I believe that when a question is posted we either answer it, ignore it, or read and study it. I sometimes do all three. I believe we all have a right to our own opinion and yours is just as important to me as mine is. I am sorry about the person who evidently did not feel that way. Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks,
Eds

EDIT:
Red Queen & Gorgeous always have different opinions than I do but I love to read their answers to many questions and have great respect for both of them.

Funny - I had the same thing happen to me yesterday with a nasty email from a woman who blocked me so I couldn't ask her why she said the mean things she said. I don't even know what the question or answer was, so at least you have that going for you LOL. Just blow it off and block that person. The world has it's share of spiteful ******* unfortunately.

I don't appreciate that you talk about Christians that way. You don't have to agree with what we believe in but if everyone in the world was a Christian then the World would be a lot better. So I don't think that reporting someone for disagreeing with you is good!

I'm not too worried about the Christians at the moment. With all these Teddy Bear questions I've answered (and asked), I figure it's the Muslims who have it in for me today.

Take Cod's advice and do as we all do...when you get reported or harassed by someone, just block them. Problem solved. And no, it's not a Christian thing to do. Really, it's not something any of us need to be doing unless a child's safety is at stake (think pedophiles stalking someone).

And this comes on the day of the passing of one of America's all time misogynists, Henry Hyde, who slipped in a federal law banning providing any information on abortion inside the TeleComm Act of 1996.

I can't resist pointing out Congressman Hyde was one of the philanderers caught by Larry Flynt. He said that it happened when he was 45, so it was "youthful indiscretions". Hmm

No, it shouldn't have been reported. I think it is a crime that more education about sex, condoms, and birth control, and STD"s, is NOT available Especially to teenagers!
And again with the @sshole, who said it was the liberals.
We liberals stand up for the rights of EVERYBODY, not just SOMEBODY.

Religion needs to stay out of Sex Education in the schools.
Teach morals at home, if needed.

As a Christian, my first thought is no. I've never reported anyone and I don't plan on it.
Is it the Christian thing to do to report your neighbor for breaking the law? To sue a doctor who was neglegant?
No.
In my opinion, the best Christian influence is delivered in love. LOVE. Those things are not done in love, but in the least, a strong dislike out of selfishness, not humility.
But do Christian's sometimes stumble too? Yes they do. Everyone sins. As soon as we are without sin, we're in heaven. Christians are just supposed to try and live a holy life. Try not to sin. Yet we still will.

Those are the actions of a childish, arrogant twit.

I'd suggest you block that user from responding to your questions in the future, sounds like a tard.

I have got to say, that e-mail has to be high up on the bad argument list, along with being high on the "strange, baseless hatred" scale as well. Apparently that person has never heard of abstinence-only sex education...or the Catholic church...

I think that this is a particularly dark day on this board. Sorry that happened to you. I think I need to start asking yoga philosophy questions. Everybody can take a swing at me, I don't mind. (((Smirk)))
If it helps I got reported for asking if I could be leader of the 'eggnogstics'.
