First and foremost, if your dog is sensitive to products or when you switch up shampoos I d say not to use detangeler, my family always had teacup yorkshire terriers, and we always use detangler. So for the majority, it is fine, but there are some dogs with sensitive skin!

They make them especially for dogs. I use 8-in-1 brand Clear Coat detangler on my Chinese Crested, really helps comb out those tanglies. I found it at Petco, but any pet supply store should have something like this in the grooming section and it's not particularly expensive.

If your dog is a groomer, then I wouldn't. But if there is no risk of your dog consuming the spray and they on't have sensetive skin, then it should be okay. If you're worried do a small patch test.

you mean human de-tangling spray? there are chemicals in there that could make the dog sick and irritate its skin...that's why it's for humans

see if any pet stores carry that kind of thing
