I am serving in the USAF right now as a reservist on a 6-year commitment. Do you think I could join all the services at one point in my life? I mean, each of the services has their pros and cons and I would like to be a part of all of them.

I figure I will go in this order: Finish the Air Force, Marines, Army, Navy, Coast Guard. That way I can get the hardest ones done first while I am still young and fit.

Do you think this is an achievable goal? As long as I don't die, I should be able to do it I think.

difficult if not impossible.

CG (like the AF) takes almost NO prior service period. Marines you will go through Boot as an E2 period. you may or may not get a paygrade back after that. Navy takes very few PS and they must be within certain ratings.

after that, once you reach a certain paygrade and/or age, you will NOT be allowed to switch Branches. Since at minimum you'd have to do 4 years in each Branch..well, you may be too old by the time you want to do the latter two branches.

Technically you could except for the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard like the AIr Force does not take Prior Service personnel.

I was in the Army as an aircraft electrician and tried to go into the Air Force but they would not take me because I was in the Army.
They claim I would be to hardcore for them.

Yeah, it should be do-able. Good look transitioning from the Air Force to the Marines though if you decide to stick to your plan.

There's no reason why you couldn't. Once you join the Marines, you won't want to change.

Should've done marines first so you would waste so much time going back to basic again. its possible i guess if you don't care about being promoted on time.
