I've been in the Army for 4 years, but never really visited the BX (being a reservist). I was wondering if it would be possible to bring my girlfriend with me so I can use the bx/px/shopette?

Yes you can but you are the only one able to purchse anything. My sister is ni the Air force and I have gone with her plenty of times.

Yes you can. For the PX/BX's that have ID checkers still, you can sign in a guest. Most PX/BX's do not require an ID to enter but an ID to pay.

Good luck!

Yes, you can bring a guest. Remember that while with you, you are "sponsoring" that person. You are responsible to ensure that they are with you at all times and follow all rules/regulations while on the installation. You will also be the only one authorized to make purchases.

yes. you can. i take my mom with me all the time when i go and all of my friends that come visit me.

on some high security bases they make them sign in (like..fort hood i know makes you do it) but at bases like ours..(fort gordon) you can just walk in. civilians can go on our base without a decal or anything so..yeah. in order to BUY something you have to have a military ID though.

Yes. When I was just dating my husband (who was in the AF) we went to the BX all the time.

Yeah, you can bring anyone you want, they just won't be able to purchase anything without a military I.D.

Yes you can bring a guest, but THEY cannot buy anything unless they are your dependent. Get married and she can shop up a storm.
