Just asking b/c i was diagnosed with Vitiligo on my penis, but the doctor said it was not severe. The doctor said that it would go away soon if i started to get it treated. So from your previous MILITARY EXPERIENCE, (i'm not expecting you to know this) do you know if you can be eligible for the US ARMY NAVY AIR FORCE MARINES if you have a skin condition called Vitiligo or if you seen anyone in the military with it???? Just answer:::Can you be eligible for the US ARMY NAVY AIR FORCE MARINES if you have a skin condition called Vitiligo or if you seen anyone in the military with it????

i just checked all the relevant medical information and apparently its not disqualifing for the ARMY. be sure to tell your recruiter about it and have the doc's at the MEPS check it out.

yes i have seen many a soldier with this condition on their hands and face. ive never asked if it was anywhere else though.

I don't have a answer but a question I have vitiligo over 90% of my body being exposed to the sun for long periods causes severe sun burn and occasionally blistering sun screen helps but not to its full potential would this be a wise decision or just stay in the office

Vitiligo is not considered to be disqualifying on its own. But, since there is a belief in the medical community that it is a possible symptom of autoimmune diseases which could be disqualifying, it is difficult to give a definitive answer to your question.
I am curious as to what treatment your doctor is using on it, since there is no cure. It's a discoloration which is secondary to lack of a certain pigment-producing chemical in the skin.
