I put my return address on the back flap. I think it looks classier.

The return address on an envelope is there so the post office can return undelivered mail to you. - Don't you have better things to do? If an invitation is undelivered the post office will take months to return it - the wedding will be over!! Do you really want it back????The invitation should have the address you want your RSVP to go to. If the two are different 1. You will have wasted time and 2, people will be confused. I know you want a nice day but you are causing yourself stress over nothing!!

I agree with the first answer...I put mine on the back side of the envelope, on the center top. It looks much cleaner and sophisticated!

I put mine on the back too. It makes the front where the guest's address is look cleaner, and neater.

I think the norm is to put it on the back flap. But I see no harm in putting it in the 'usual' location of upper left-hand corner.
