This is a question that should be answered by your dentist or oral surgeon. A lot of the answer will depend on the condition of your wisdom teeth. Are they all the way in (erupted), or are they still under the gum? Are you going to be put to sleep or not? You need to speak to your practitioner for this answer.
When I had mine removed, I was still in high school and the teeth were impacted. I had to be put to sleep to have them removed, so I chose spring break week to have the procedure. I had plenty of time to recover from the surgery. When I returned to school, I was still somewhat swollen and still couldn't close my mouth all the way, but I was "gummin' it"....I could eat very carefully.
Good luck with your surgery, and talk with your dentist/surgeon.

When I pulled my first wisdom tooth, I took two days, the day of the surgery and the next due to swelling. The others were no problem. It really depends on the person and how well they handle pain, if they are healthy and whether there is any surgery to be done.

i think it depends on the individual. when i got my wisdom teeth out i went to work the next day and did a lot of talking. but last year i got a tooth pulled and i was in horrible pain for about 4 days. luckily it was over a long weekend and i didnt have to work.

I had it down on a Saturday morning and I was back to work on Monday. All four were impacted and two of them were growing in horizontally so they all had to be surgically removed. My doctor gave me novacaine, laughing gas, and a twilight sedation before he woke me up he gave me an additional shot of novacaine. I had minimal pain for the rest of the day and a little the next. My biggest problem was not being able to eat!

well it all depends on the person i mean if you get your teeth pulled early in a day you have the rest of the day to rest and if you want you can be out the next but when i got my pulled i was back to work the next day i was swollen but its not as bad as people make it wound your mouth heals very quickly

I can't remember it's been so long. But I had all 4 removed at once and they were all impacted. It sucked!! Everyone takes pain and heals differently so i would say a couple days.

HELLO STAR,

THIS DEPENDS ON EACH PERSON. I WOULD TAKE 2-3 DAYS OFF IF POSSIBLE, AND RELAX.
