I'm looking for a tried and true recipe for a carrot cake made with baby food jarred carrots, and crushed pineapple. Only recipes that you know and have baked please. Don't just search the internet for a recipe, I've already done that, and not many appeal to me.

You use babyfood to make the cake really moist. It's just pureed carrots. You feed it to your child, and it isn't gross. The crushed pineapple is for texture. Anyway I found a recipe at cooks.com that I'm using. Thanks anyway.

Paula Deen has one with baby food in it on foodnetwork.com called Sweet Baby Jack cake or something. If you look under carrot cake it'll come up. I like her stuff, but I haven't made it because the idea of using baby food makes me want to barf; I like using fresh finely grated carrots. But there ya go anyway.
It doesn't have the pineapple, but go ahead and add a cup or so. That's what I do and it can only make it better.

I never heard of that one, but I made one for Thanksgiving from a Betty Crocker cake mix.....added a bag of pecans, and it turned out so good...I bet you could add the ingredients that you wanted.
