Quit going over there when they call and need "help". Cut off trade and oil purchases. (We pipe our own from Alaska and refine it here and sell to somewhere else. WHY! Duh) deny any and all visas/ student/ tourist/ family from all Middle East. Close all land and businesses owned by those that live in the Middle East and are not American Citizens residing in America or citizens in Europe. Within 5 yrs they will find a way to become peaceful and want to befriend us. When they become hungry, need new water systems, need help trading to increase their countries wealth, that is when things will settle down and swallow their pride.
I know it sounds harsh but heck - we're danged if we do and danged if we don't and they try any and all means to take and take but give nothing back. I have been around for a while and ever since the early 70's, the middle eastern countries have caused us nothing but greif as well cause our national deficit to rise higher than ever. We used to be a self sufficient country but money got in the way. I feel sorry for those that do not hate like the fanatics that represent them and wish I could save them from such tyranny and hate but that will have to be up to them. Peace and love is all well and good and if it worked there would never had been wars. Politics are not the answer. Better trade agreements are not the answer. Peace treaties don't work (we have over 11 of them signed on the books with the Middle East in less than 20yrs). So, sadly, there is no answer at the moment. Hope someone finds one soon or there may not be anyone left over there in the next 20 yrs.

Politics IS... IS... i repeat... IS the problem in the Middle East. So no, the solution is not political. The solution can be found in the heart. Like, as in, enough people on all sides finding theirs and using it.

On one level yes there is a political solution and it involves justice and coexistence and too let go of prejudice, hate, and the need to control. Economics is another area that can bring a solution, affluent people are less likely to feel the need or the sorrow that drives someone to kill their neighbor. Though in that volatile area people will have to fundamentally change at the personal and spiritual level as well because the mass mind control of hate runs too rampant.

A political answer is conceivable if and provided that the two factors of the difficulty want a political answer. regrettably, Hamas, Hezbollah, the PLO, and different ist orginizations do not prefer one.

Everybody likes to think there is a quick fix but no one has any solutions just a bunch of complaints

No.
The Israelis won't surrender Jerusalem and Israel.
The Palestinians and other Arabs won't stop until they completely control Israel.
The Israelis have sought peace and continually compromised, yet they Palestinians retaliate with more demands and more violence.

God is in control. What ever happens over there will be a part of His master plan. That you can be sure of.
