My daughter wants a camera that you can write on the photos and do other editing. I have never seen such a camera and the Best Buy salesman was also stumped. He suggested maybe Toys R Us, but I don't even know what I'm looking for. Any help greatly appreciated. My daughter is 13 by the way so I dont think it would be this expensive sophisticated camera.

Actually I have found out that Sony DOES make a camera that has a touch screen that you can edit photos on. It goes for about $400. My daughter says this is not the one. I give up!!!(not that I would buy her the $400 one anyway)

Well, i am 13 years old and the camera i have is the sony cybershot T200. It does have the feature you are talking about and does cost $400. However, if you wanted to by a cheaper on with the same feature you can buy the T20. That's the only thing that i can think of with the feature. If she doesn't want that then i don't think there are anymore. Good luck =)

I recommend buying her a normal digital camera, but also maybe getting her Photoshop or another type of Photo editting program where you can write on pictures, make special effects, etc.

There is no such camera that allows you to edit the pictures like that.

Although such a camera does not exist today, back in the early 1900's Kodak had a camera called the "Autographic" - it had a "window" on the back and a metal stylus so you could autograph the photo.

I don't think someone made that kind of camera as yet for now.

Hey, may be you can make one and your daughter will be rich for coming up with that idea!
