As far as God in school, I can understand the separation of Church and State. However, we went generations having prayer in schools without a problem, then some troublemaker decided to stir up some crap.
The Pledge of Allegience is just...a pledge of allegience to the country's flag. If you can't say that, you don't need to be in this country. Figure out which country you would like to pledge allegience to and move there (if they will have you).
Blasphemy towards God? Well, that's a big no-no....I think that God will handle that one himself...
The "teddy bear" fiasco? It just another example of how crazy those morons really are. I vote to cut off all aid and let them teach and feed their own country.

We are not being told the whole story. The government keeps us so busy arguing with ourselves that no one can see how things really are. I guess it's their job to make sure there are at least two sides to everything. In the US, if someone says something against God, people just try to ignore it. Because it's just one persons goofy opinion that may change from minute to minute. I don't know what they are so scared of. The blacks won't let those silly Nazis have their Nazi parades because they're whites excercising freedom of speech. If they hate Nazis that much, they would let them speak and everyone would just ignore them. I have heard of Catholic schools, what's that all about? They took out "under God", but blacks won't pledge allegiance to the flag of a country that held them as slaves. All this needs to go away!

What are you actually asking?
If you are implying that the Christian influences in the US are no big deal because Muslims are crazy, then I don't think you have much of a point.
I think that the Islamic middle east teaches us that religion is a problem. Not that Islam is the problem, religion.
Christianity is just CURRENTLY less violent than Islam. Historically, though, they are one in the same with regard to respect for liberty.
(SallyG is the type of person I am talking about. How much tolerance do you think she has for different opinions?)

Lately, blasphemy seems to be a fad. Its really hard to compare the two situations. I've heard people try to compare naming a teddy bear and displaying a upside down cross in urine and their not even close to being the same thing

you`re comparing apples with oranges. I think people should be fired for not allowing Christianity in the school. Not flogged or jailed. The atheist burned my bible in the schools back in the 60`s and took it out but you don`t defend that now do you???????????????

It tells me it's really sad we don't care about our loving and kind God as much as they care about their hateful one And it's sad sad sad. People who make a stand command respect. Something America hardly knows how to do anymore because she is too busy being TOLERANT. It's wimpy.
