I intentionally misspelled "Christian" in a question to point out the intentionally misspelling of the word "atheist". And when one answer misspelled the word "mis-spelled" to point out my error, I almost fell out of my chair in laughter.

It isn't ironic at all.

Now, if someone misspelled the fact that you misspelled the fact that you intentionally misspelled Christian and they misspelled the response to the misspelling of you misspelling Christian with a misspelling of the misspelling of Atheist. That would be ironic.

Okay, I'll dispense with the humor since it obviously went over your heads.

I never make a big deal about a misspelling because I am smart enough to figure out what the person was asking or saying anyway. There are people on here from diverse educational, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Some people simply do not have a good command of the English language.

Did you know that misspelled is one of the 100 most commonly misspelled words? Ironic, but true.

If it was me (and I know I've spelled it like that once recently), you have to forgive my odd use of hyphenation because I'm British ;)

Edit: Actually, I spelled it without the hyphen, so I was right. Hoorah!

Like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife... like meeting the man of your dreams, then meeting his beautiful wife.

Isn't it ironic, don't you think?
