Tell who what? Tell the ex you are dating someone else? That would serve no purpose. Or do you mean tell your current bf about the guy you dumped? Again, that would serve no purpose.

Tell who what? That you just broke up with someone..or tell the ex that you've moved on?
Tell the ex asap that you've moved on so he doesn't keep trying to get back with you (unless you want to get back with him and this new guy is just a one time, someone to do date).
It shouldn't matter to the new guy though if you just broke up with the ex last Wednesday, last week, or even last month, as long as it's over and he doesn't have to worry about someone wanting to kick his a$$ for stealing his woman...he didn't steal you did he? You didn't break up with the old guy just so you could go out with the new one did you?

Uhhhh...man. That's a toughie, because as a guy, there's no way for me to really relate to that. I empathize with you, even though I can't imagine what that must do to your psyche...but I know of a girl who got raped and still was able to trust guys...but she is very tough on them, and if they don't meet her high standards, she is pretty frosty about dropping them like a bad habit. Don't go after dating, maybe, just try to make friends so that you can learn to build trust with guys on that level before you seriously get back in the game. Give yourself time to heal, as much time as you need, and make sure you give some love to yourself!

Tell who? The ex you dumped doesn't care and the one you are dating doesn't need to know.

I really don't think your ex is concerned whether you are dating someone else or not. You must be trying to make him jealous of the fact you have found someone else already. You get no points for that. Move on and enjoy your new relationship.

tell who what?
Tell your ex? Why? He's your ex for a reason. No longer in your life. Doesnt need to know details of your life after him.

Tell the new dude? no, he's new. He doesnt need details of your past.

Dating is just dating. Its not yet a relationship, dont give it more than it is.

Dont say anything to your ex - why would you?
Also how about a wee bit of down time to get your head together and take a bit of a breather? not nice for the new guy to be a total rebound job, it is.

If you dumped him you don't need to tell that to the person you're dating now. It's in the past. Doesn't matter

Why are you worrying about your ex? It's nice that you are trying to respect his feelings, but you are already dating the other guy, so why worry about that now?

Telling him now would just be awkward for the both of you. Just move on & forget about it. It's really not worth worrying about in the long term.

Its not a right way! You should think hundreds of time before you start to move on these lines. Look self-respect, personal-grace and moral and ethical values are the rights things you should of those. when a thing is gone , it never comes back. Respect lost once is lost for ever. Please open you mind, eyes and thinking capabilities to do some thing positive, constructive and valuable. This issue of bf and gf is nothing except loosing of self respect, grace and morality. God Almighty help and guide you on to the right path.
