Google Images, funpics.com, Damn Funny pictures, Neatorama...I must say though that I'm running out of quality material.

Because you do not know of his wrath. You will see it in the tribulation if it comes in our time.

Eph. 4:17
17
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

20 But ye have not so learned Christ;

Rev. 6:15
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17
For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

For today is the day of salvation . Isaiah 55:6 " Seek the Lord while he may be found ,call ye upon him while he is near ". Right now God has mercy on sinners who hear his word and ask for forgiveness . Once Judgment day comes , his mercy will be terminated and you will have to stand before God , answer for your countless sins and your sins will send you to eternal suffering and torment forever.www.fbbc.com

That is hard to answer, not because of logical ideal or faith based ideas but based on how the word scared is yoused. Christaina are to fear god but not in the way of being afraid of him. We are to fear his wrath and thus follow his commands. The only thing i can say to any atheist including yourself is that you have made your choice and tha is ok. I do not think anyless of you becuase it was your decision to make. THe decision, in my mind, was wrong but still it was yours and yours alone to make. Honestly where I stand you should fear god becuase the decision you made will cause your soul to go to hell. BUt I must ask you this can you truely fear something you dont believe in? I mean this not to protray any atheism in myself but to get you to think. How can you fear something that in your mind doesnt exist unless deep down you know the truth.

God will not compel you to believe in him... or even to obey His laws... and no one of The True Christian Faith would compel you either... you are free to get away with anything you can under the law of man.... but... God makes The Rules... play by The Rules... or... ultimately... you will lose... and that will not be a good thing for you... your choice... neither God nor I will stop you.

no, I don't recommend being afraid. There's no profit in it. Do you treat people, the one's you actually meet, face to face, decently? The way you want them to treat you? Then that's all you need. It doesn't matter what your intellectual center comes up with. All that is is just words. It's not action. The only thing that counts is your actions.

Malachi 3:16–18

16Then those who feared the LORD spoke with one another. The LORD paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the LORD and esteemed his name. 17“They shall be mine, says the LORD of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. 18Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.”

I don't know why you need to be scared of Him... God is love yet you insist on showing Him hate. It doesn't make sense to me.
