I play alot of guitar hero and lately my left hand feels like its sore and has random pains. the tip on my middle finger stings if i press down on it, should i stop playing or is it something else?

You have tendonitis or overuse syndrome...some even call it "Nintendonitis"...take a break,do hand stretches..unlikely you have carpal tunnel syndrome.

No, you should never stop playing guitar hero. It's one of the greatest games ever invented! Take breathers every now and then, and don't forget to eat your potassium. You're muscels in your hands are probably acting up or just cramping it happens all the time.

Lol! That is hilarious. Ok, now down to business. Sounds like your fingers are sore from hitting the buttons. Put some medical tape over them for padding and rock on dude!! Sounds like you are forming a blister.

i think your pain is caused by muscles being used that you normally don't use.. just like if you don't run for a while and you start running a lot you will be very sore. Just take some Tylenol or ibuprofen that will help with your pain.

Take a little breather, this happens to me too when I play for like an hour or more.

Stop playing for a while. And then limit your playing once everything heals up.

it happened to me too. mine was tendonitis which is just when u overuse the muscle. they had me quit for about a week
