No, Not Jerusalem and not one more square inch of land.

They should however give up on fruitless peace talks with people whose history is never complying with any treaty they have ever signed and whose holy book says that it is okay to lie and make treatys with non believers because you don't have to honer them anyway.

A people who have vowed they will never stop until the Jewish people are driven into the sea

Why should the Israelis lose Jerusalem? Muslims openly admit that their most holy city is Mecca, followed by Medina. And no non Muslim can even set food in either of these!

Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Quran. Muslims pray facing Mecca.

Jews have only Jerusalem as our spiritual epicentre; it has always been special to us and we ensure that people of all faiths are free to visit the holy sites. We guard the city and look after it with love and reverence.

When the Jordanians controlled Jerusalem, they turned the Jewish holy sites into horse stables.

So no, Israel should not give up Jerusalem. And she won't!

Should the pope give up the Vatican?
Should the Muslims give up Mecca?
If the answer is no, then why on earth would you ask if Israel should give up Jerusalem?
After all, Jerusalem has been the holiest place in Judaism for the past 3,0015 years. It has been the capital of Israel for all that time as well.
The answer is a clear NO!

No. Jerusalem belongs to the Lord and the land of Israel was given to them by Almighty God. I don't care about the Ottomon Empire, the British, the Palestinians, the Jordanians, the Syrians, the Lebanese, Hamas, Hezbollah or Al Queda. Jerusalem belongs to God and my Lord was a Jew and He ate the Passover Feast. Jesus said, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem."

1 Kings 11:13".......and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen." God chose Jerusalem

Isaiah 62:6-12
"I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence. And give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give the corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou has labored. But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness. Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highways; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh, behold, his reward is with Him, and His work before Him. And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken."

The Lord is returning to Jerusalem. The Mount of Olives will split in two. Every eye will see him, even those who pierced Him.

doesn't matter, for it is GODS and He will take it when the time is right.

Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

I don't think that it will matter. God is in control if he wants Israel to keep Jerusalem then they will. If He doesn't then they wont. But either way it is just a piece of land and has no bearing on salvation. As this earth as we know it will pass away and there will be a New Jerusalem.

The loss of Jerusalem would mark the beginning of a holocaust on a scale never before seen. Is anyone really ready to sacrifice 80-90% of humanity just to wipe the snot from noses of arab cry-babies!? Think about it.

No way. Just look what happened when land on the Gaza strip was given away. They now have a closer area to shoot rockets at the Israelis. These aggressors will never be happy until the total annihilation of the land of Israel.
