I had this friend, and she said her mom, never allowed her to dunk things, such ac cookies in milk, crackers in soup, and so on. Why is this? Does it have anything to do with religion? I'm sorry, but something about that, bugs me.

It is not proper manners to dunk your food. You can pre-crumble your crackers and then put that into the soup. The cookie issue is another thing. I wouldn't want to crumble cookies in my milk, so the answer is don't do either, it's pretty disgusting anyway...This has nothing to do with religion just manners.....

Some people are like that, it has noting to do with religion.
I knew a guy that would not allow any of his food to touch and would eat one thing at a time.
Such as he would eat his steak, then the potato then the veggie.
Not a bit of one the whole thing then the next.

His mom was either just really quirky, or she was obsessed with neatness and did not want him making a mess with spills or crumbs. Either way, what a shame, no dunking cookies as a kid. I hope he did it every time he was at someone else's house without her.

Depends on a lot of things. Was her dad a mechanic? Maybe her mother has a phobia for dirty fingers.
