Islam loses all credibility when I see garbage and stupidity like this, just like the Danish riots that killed a few people over a cartoon. Why is this hate allowed to flourish?

BTW, I'm not Christian, so it's not a Catholics vs Moors thing going on here.

Like I said in another question - the muslims are ADDICTED to violence. They love any reason to protest, wave knives, yell and call for the execution of other human beings. This IS NOT a civilized society. It is not a peaceful society.

Well, christianity is also based to be a peaceful and loving religion. Most of Christ's statements were to that effect, and loving thy neighbor/turning the other cheek are important concepts. Yet, throughout history, there were times when christians were cruel and destructive.(Spanish inquisition, crusades, witch hunts) That doesn't mean Christianity is a destructive religion. Much as Islam isn't MEANT to be a destructive religion. A lot of what is happening in the muslim world today is created by dictators/religious leaders twisting the religion and taking advantage of the conditions of their muslim followers.

It's considered an insult to name an inanimate object or an animal after Muhammad(PBUH*) or one of the other prophets(PBUT*). The Sudanese are just very touchy over the subject and probably were afraid that the naming of the teddybear would result in idoaltry which is forbidden in Islam. Plus Muhammad(PBUH*) said in a Hadith(Bukhari) that it is forbidden to name an animate object after the prophets(PBUT*) or to make images that represent living things(humans and animals).

Don't judge the people by their religion. Your case can be made against many Caucasian Christians throught the Americas and Europe. They were Christians who were very violent and murderous slave traders.
Africans had never attacked or known these people, yet the waters of the Ivory Coast ran red.....from the blood of the people.
This spirit still exist in the world. You might apply your judgement across the board.

It's quite simple. Different people interpret Islam in different ways. However we only see Muslims on the news when they do something bad, never in a positive light. I've lived amongst muslims in a muslim nation. I've never encountered a problem.

from your article:
Muhammad Abdul Bari, secretary-general of the Muslim Council of Britain, accused the Sudanese authorities of "gross overreaction."
"This case should have required only simple common sense to resolve. It is unfortunate that the Sudanese authorities were found wanting in this most basic of qualities," he said.
i think your question should be directed at the sudani authorities and not islam

Because nothing good ever comes from people using religious beliefs instead of morals to justify their actions... People use it as an excuse to resort to extremism.
