when I see them on t.v. I mute it. so I can see them. I don't want to hear what they have to say because it is usually a crock of lies. I did that in 2000 and i was right. Have you not realised by now that they will say anything to get what they want? sure as soon as they get what they want who's to say you will get what you want out of them?
this is in immigration cause i see alot of talk about who will do this and that about immigration? well nobody knows. MUTE

Hillary has proven that she would lie her way to the Presidency. Everything she says shows she is insincere. Guiliani also seem to lack fortitude in his decision. Edward is too good looking for me to trust. I am suspicious of where Obama is getting all his money. Ron Paul seems honest, especially since he is willing to express strange ideas. I am giving Fred THompson the benefit of the doubt, partly because, Nixon hates him .
As for Bush, he wasn't that big a liar. He didn't say much. GOre on the other hand has proven to lack fortitude to fight for what he believes in. He claims to be an Environmental minded person, but when he was trying to become President, he tried to artificially lower oil prices.
Muting the TV might give you clues of a persons honesty. We can be distracted by yhe noise, and it helps us read body language.
As to what you said, it may not be a bad thing if they back out of their word when elected. Immigration is a complex item, and they may see it in a new prospective as President. As President, he might have access to more resources to get a better picture. The CIA would offer information that he normally won't have access. He would have access to Economist that would give a better picture.
We need to listen to them to see how moral and to evaluate their mental ability. We need to look at their experiance and see if they are willing to expand from it or would have a tunnel view due to his limited experience. We all use different criterias, because we all are different and have different experience. If you mute the TV just so you can see if any of them fidget, U would not look down, but if you mute because all of them lie, then that's a different story. Frankly you need to vote for one, and how else would you choose the best President with the attitude that all lies.

Sounds like your one person who's starting to wake up to the real situation. As was said way back in the 30's, " our politicians, (either party), are the best money can buy", Will Rogers. There really nothing more than straw men controlled by the rich and powerful interests. The working people have absolutely no real representation.

That explains a whole lot. I prefer to read about all the candidates and see how they vote in the past. Who is more likely to fold and be a puppet to special interest and corporations.. it is a tedious job; but that is how I vote. The lesser of two evils.

Why are Americans so afraid of the government? If you don't get what you want from a politician, get a bullhorn, go down to Washington and SCREAM at them.
Demand results. It works in other democratic countries like France. They have a massive economy, free health care, and a 30 hour work week. Do you think the government just gave them that or they DEMANDED it?

Hey, whatever works for you.
Did you say that you can't see them if they are not on mute?......Yep, that is what you said. Were you born by a nuclear power plant or some high voltage power lines or something? Why does your vision get impaired when you can hear them speak? Please fill me in.

Everybody knows that in order to be a good politician then you have to be a good liar. If people don't know that by now, then I feel sorry for them, they have a blind fold on.
