God has never and never will condone such, people done a lot of things then, just like they do now, that is not acceptable to God. Anyone with an ounce of common sense, and just the least bit of spiritual sense, knows this. Just like you stated, you cannot believe this, you are right, because it is not true.

The Bible is a book of many experiences, both good and bad. It does not say that everything in there that happened is good. And anyone who is trying to claim that the "Lot and his daughters" experience didn't happen can go pick up their Bible - its in the latter part of Genesis chapter 19. This is why the Bible also says that you shouldn't get drunk... The bible doesn't ever say that this was "good in the eyes of God" or anything. It's a historical fact for Lot - he just didn't have good women in his life. So the question is "can a man have sex with his daughters?" obviously, sickeningly to think of - physically it is possible. Does the Bible condone such actions? No.

The account in Genesis 19:30-38 about Lot's daughters does not in any way infer that God approved of this action. The very fact that Lot’s daughters got him intoxicated suggests that they realized that he would not consent to having sexual relations with them while he was sober. But as aliens in the land, his daughters felt that this was the only way to prevent the extinction of Lot’s family. The account is in the Bible to reveal the relationship of the Moabites (through Moab) and the Ammonites (through Benammi) to Abraham’s descendants, the Israelites.

This also occurred many years before the written law was given to the nation of Israel, which includes the command in Leviticus 18:6,7 "You people must not come near, any man of you, to any close fleshly relative of his to lay bare nakedness. . . . The nakedness of your father and the nakedness of your mother you must not lay bare.” This shows us that God did not approve of any type of incest. The penalty for these acts was death.

The information about Lot and his daughters being included in the Scriptural record should really help us to appreciate that the Bible is a book of truth. Even when people who were known as God’s servants became involved in improper acts, the Bible does not conceal this. However, at all times such things are recounted, not to entertain or to stimulate a desire to indulge in immoral conduct, but to provide a background for understanding other events.

The bible shows an example how daughters feel uncertain after their mom dies early, and how they respond sometimes as the daughter of Lot whose wife has died after the family left the metropolis before a meteor shower destroyed that city.

There is a story in the Bible of two daughters, who afraid that they would be childless and thus not able to inherit anything, decided to get their father drunk, rape him, and get pregnant by him. But the Bible treats it as a horrible sin that they committed. Nowhere in the Bible is a father allowed to have sex with his daughter.

Rather, in the book of Leviticus, there are several restricts placed on incest and amrriage, with father-daughter being one of them.

Baby, the first thing that you need to do is read the Bible yourself. Ask God to grant you understanding when reading it. Me myself I've never seen that in the Bible. But some of the stuff that was done in the Bible was to populate the world. Meaning it's not acceptable in to days world.
GOD BLESS YOU

Well given that the Earth started off as Adam and Eve, there had to have been a lot of incest involved to populate the planet. All that hard work was washed away with Noah's flood, and his family had to repeat the whole incest process.

Lot's daughters turned the tables around and got their dad drunk and molested him to help repopulate the world since they thought god had destroyed everything (again).

I don't recall anything in the Ten Commandments involving incest. Maybe I need to go down to my local court house and re-read them.

No, it is not true. The Bible condemns incest.

I think you need to read the Bible for yourself, instead of believing what other people tell you.

Aren't you just a soldier for Christ. To tell you the truth incest was not prohibited by God until the Mosiac Laws when morals and ethics begin to develop among the people and they saw it as wrong and God put into law that is was a sin. So no I doubt fathers copulate with their daughters and you are very sick for even thinking so!
