As a Christian I am not supposed to believe in reincarnation. Yet when Jesus asked his disciples about who people thought he was one said they thought he was the prophet Elisha who had lived long before Jesus was born. Jesus could have set the record straight then and there saying that reincarnation is not possible. But he did not say that. So who am I to say it cannot or doesn't happen?

2 i understand of contain Buddhism and Hinduism. fairly some eastern religions have self assurance in reincarnation. I stick to a buddhist existence-type (do no longer evaluate myself buddhist nevertheless because of the fact i've got no longer completed the dharma, etc) and am no longer a hundred% particular how i think approximately reincarnation. i think of it variety of feels available... yet I do exactly no longer understand.

I'm agnostic about it. I do believe in karma though. Or atleast the idea that what goes around comes around. I think that Buddhism is a largely unknown and misunderstood religion in the US. I started reading a book about it and people looked at me like I was crazy.

This is one of those questions that gets asked periodically and yet the asker never defines what definition of "reincarnation" they mean. There is a wide spectrum of notions and definitions and simply answering yes or no really says pretty much nothing.

Born Catholic but, not good at practicing it....I guess that's why it's called 'practice'?
As being 'human', with a soul, I do not believe in coming back as a "TREE" or an 'ANIMAL'!
Have you ever felt 'de' ja vou'..... like 'being here or there', in a place before?
As for 'KARMA'...hmmmmmmmm, I've seen some people do some 'terrible' things and 'yet' to see 'KARMA' (bad) come back to them!! GO FIGURE!
