Do you think that Iraq will eventually be peacefull, stable and have a prosperous Democracy in place?
Do you think Iraq will be left in a mess taken over by militias, terrorists and insurgents?

Depends on who gets elected.
It will either be one, and become a stable democracy, or lost and controlled by terrorists.

Iraq is in danger of splitting into 2 or more countries. How stable they will be, could depend if they have oil - and will the rest of the world leave them alone

ok right now there is no legal order in iraq no police so basically its like camden and compton over there
bush will try to get as much control as possible before leaving office
after the government is established the war will end
not a total positive thing either

There is too much oil in Iraq for any president to ignore, democrat or republican. We will be there for a while. Instead of planning for the worst case, president Bush unleashed chaos with his administrations best case operational plans. And it takes a long time to bottle-up that chaos again.

i hope not #2 but it seems the more that we are there the more that our troops are being killed and the terrorist atacks seem to get worse ... it just started going down ... but i dont think that they will be peaceful anytime soon ... but i sure hope that it happens eventually ... i saw an article in the Navy News and it said that we might be in this war for 50 years if it keeps up like it has !~
