I cook mine in a crockpot. I leave it on low for about 9 hours. Perfect tender brisket every time.

Cook corned beef, the one on the tin?

Try chopping 1 onion and then fry it with oil, then pour the tin cook corned beef, add a little water, add a little salt and pepper. 10 mins it's done. Nice on top of newly cooked hot hot rice. Yum.

You should simmer it for about 30 minutes per pound. So for a 4 lb brisket, it should cook for about 2 hours. The longer you cook it, the more tender it will be.

Fitst, check the package. The cooking instructions and time should be on there.

For a good-sized brisket, simmer in a large pot of water for about 3 hours.
