well I told my cousin that I was dating a white guy and she is fine with it, I told all my friends they are cool and all of these people are happy for me and they accept me for who I am my boyfriend accepts me for who I am cause I told all these people but there is one person that I need to tell but cant cause Im scared of what he might say it my dad and I am a daddys girl what can I tell him how can I tell him my boyfriend is a year older then me and he is white? help

I have learned to love outside of my race but I dont know if my dad will be happy when I tell him. My boyfriend told me he dont care what his mom & step dad think about us and I dont care but I want my dad to love me for telling him the truth.

Now that is a tricky one. But like all problems, if you go straight to the heart of it, the least he will do is say no. If he is a reasonable man, then colour of your boy friend should not be an issue. I think more then your friends and relatives, you seem to be having a problem with loving someone not of your own race. You do not need approval, although that would be so nice, if both of you love each other. So Dad listen to her, and give her your support. I am sure every thing he says, will be because he love you. and you and your boy friend, can show him you mean it by staying cool and waiting until he gets to know your man better.
