I really depends on what kind of camera you are using, and the megapixels of the camera. the bigger the megapixels, the bigger the megapixels, the more space it takes up on the memory card. If you are using a SLR, if you choose JPEG+NEF, then it takes a lot more space, and you may only get about 100 pictures from that card.
