L.O.V.E. by Nat King Cole?

I know you usually use a more upbeat, popular, or funny song, but we just can't think of anything along those lines that really fits us, even though we are a young couple we dont really listen to pop music, only alternative, rock, and county, and many of our wedding songs are country already, and I really want it to be upbeat and happy, and rock jsut doesnt seem to fit in that catagory for me...

I thought this is classic and sweet and maybe an option? Any and all opinions are welcome! Honesty please! Thanks!

I know it is an upbeat song, I guess I meant more of a "today" song...

What are you talking about!!!!!! This song is very upbeat!! And I have been to a lot of weddings, i have never heard this ever. What a great idea!!! How much do you want to bet, someone else will use it for their wedding too. I say GO FOR IT!!

Don't know the song and can't listen at work-

But I would say pick any music you really like, it doesn't have to be "love" themed if you don't want it to be. We walked in to the opening of Clocks by Coldplay- we both really like that bit of music. It was great, very dramatic! I am sure there are some alt songs you like that have a good instrumental section!

Remember that everyone is going to be cheering for you, and you want the energy to be high!

It's a classic that your parents, friends, and (future) kids will enjoy long after the wedding is over ( while watching the wedding dvd)

I'm at work and YouTube is blocked on my work computers, LOL =D, but is that the song that goes "L is for the way you look at me, O is for the only one I see..."? If so, that's a fabulous song and it would be absolutely perfect!

Good luck and congrats!

I wlaked in to Elvis, a little less conversation and my first song was the Reason by Hoobastank, I don't think it matters what you walk into as long as you like it.
