I'm zipping around the house cleaning, doing laundry etc, etc. My cats are following me all over.(They do this a lot, they're clingy sometimes) Then while I'm in the kitchen at the sink, I turn around and my boy kittie is sitting on the island counter staring at me. He goes "MEOW"!! real loud. I know what he wants. So I go up to him, I cup his sweet face in my hands, we're eye to eye about an inch from each other. And I say "Sorry son, no wet food today". (he gets it only once a week) He wiggles away from me yells MEOW! again. Then jumps off the counter, bites my ankle (not hard) and runs to the bedroom under the bed!! I haven't seen him for about an hour now! Ha!! And to think some people think cats are dumb!! I swear mine understand human english!!!

Haha!

My 3 year old cat talks to me constantly. If I look at her, she meows, if I say her name, she meows, if she wants me to turn on the bath water, she meows.
Every morning, she sits in the bathtub and meows until I turn on the water. I turn it on a little and let it trickle. She bats at it and then tilts her head and looks at it, then bats it again. She loves it!

My sister's cat zips around the house, bouncing off walls, in and out of the bathtub, etc.

Well, one day my sis had started to draw a bath when I called. The cat started zipping around the house and when he got to the bathtub, you heard this kitty SCREAM, then SPLASH, then a wet orange blur came streaking past and into the closet.

You can imagine what his face looked like and what his limbs were trying to do in the instant before he hit the water.

That is pretty funny :) Mine does the strangest thing. After she uses the litterbox, she runs around like a maniac, zipping down the hallway and up and over the couches, on and off the dining room table, etc., then goes over to the back door (we have a closed off balcony) and stands UP against the glass and scratches the door begging to go out. I'm always so scared she's going to knock something over or hurt herself when she runs around so fast! Cats are amazing and that's why we love them.

My last cat used to bite my calves if I yelled at my husband.

And this morning after feeding the girls I went back to my computer. I looked down and there was Sophie. She said "meow" which translated to "I think you put a bit too much chicken in with the other food. I'm not crazy about so could you throw me a bone here?"

lol i love cats. theyre so funny.

i have a pretty good story...

im a runner and i live on a street that goes in and out one way, its an oval. so i run around this oval every so often. one time in the summer i was just running around and it was close to dark. at times i could hear some faint jingling but i didnt see anything so i just keep running. at one point i turn around and see four glowing eyes behind me! my two cats decided to follow me on my run. goofballs. but they only made it like half way around and kept following me each time i came by them. now i have to make sure my cats dont see me before i go running because i dont want them to get lost

Yep. Cats have got to be brilliant, they spend so much time observing. With their rather merciless dispositions, it's a good thing they don't have opposable thumbs.
Your story was very funny.

The reason he did that was that you were insubordinate! With kitties around you need to learn to follow orders.
