Are those fundamentalists who want to stone a rape victim ANY different from:

-those Christians who starved Muslims to death in Yugoslavian camps, in the 90's?

-those Christians that killed, kidnapped and terrorized each other in Northern Ireland in the 80's and 90's?

-that American Christian President who has bombed whole nations, killing and maiming innocent women and kids, on the grounds that "God talked to me and told me to go to war"??

-those Catholics (including the very Church) that collaborated with the Nazis in the Holocaust?

-those Christians like Tim McVeigh or David Koresh?

-those Christians that bomb abortion clinics and kill abortion doctors?

-those Christians that assault immigrants in France, England and Spain?

-those Christians that until recently (the 60's) used to hang Afro Americans and burn their houses, in front of their kids?

-those child-molesting Catholic priests?

-those Christians that deny gay people their rights, in the very "land of the free"?

Not all Christians are like that though.I know MANY wonderful Christians who truly are what they say they are. We cannot generalize about a whole group of people. One thing I can say, however,is that the affairs of religion should COMPLETELY be separate from the affairs of the goverment. This is the best possible solution.

why call out just Christians, hatred ?? everyone has the freedom to choose; everyone here has a vote to cast ; you can't sit back and complain if you don't exercise your right to vote or get involved in politics; the people who complain the most and insult and mock others are the same ones who do nothing; it is easy to insult others when sitting behind a screen with a few key strokes; that is cowardly; if you don't believe , don't but you don't need to promote hatred; you can't blame everyone for the handful that you cite; doesn't mean all; only God can judge what is in the heart of someone or not; do you go after all Germans for the Nazi's ; USA wasn't the only slave driven nation ; and not all citizens of the USA are Christians ; not all Christians are child molesters and not all child molesters are Christians; stop mud slinging ; all the evil in the world isn't just Christian ; do your homework; he who is without sin , cast the first stone; isn't there brutality in your statements against all Christians?? whether they deserve it or not??? How can you see the speck in your neighbor's eye when you can't see the log in your own.

If your point is that there are extremists and psychopaths in all religions then you are correct but you seem to be suggesting that run-of-the-mill Christian fundamentalists share the extremists guilt. That is wrong.

Men are the same friend, but Christ is not. What did Christ teach? Do you know? If you are trying to prove hypocrisy exists you seem to have ignored the fact that it has already been proven. But what about Christ... was He a hypocrite? Did he save love thy neighbor and then showed loved to those whom He did not know? Did he make the blind see, the lame walk, and the sick well?

Christians are not the example of the Christian faith, Christ is.

There are radicals in every walk of life. You should be smart enough to know that those people and events you listed do not represent the views and lifestyles of every christian...not even close. Just like we know that not every muslim is a radical terrorist. Use your brain, its a handy tool.

Silence thy wagging tongue, viper! Get thee behind me, back to your den of serpents! I rebuke thee! Reap thee the wind, and so shall you reap the whirlwind! "Cursed be he who does the Lords work remissly, cursed he who holds back his sword from blood. (Jeremiah 48:10 NAB) "The people of Samaria must bear the consequences of their guilt because they rebelled against their God. They will be killed by an invading army, their little ones dashed to death against the ground, their pregnant women ripped open by swords." (Hosea 13:16 NLT) If two Israelite men are fighting and the wife of one tries to rescue her husband by grabbing the testicles of the other man, her hand must be cut off without pity. (Deuteronomy 25:11-12 NLT) Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children. (Isaiah 13:15-18 NLT) As you can plainly see, god loves to kill and torcher and rape. Both Christan's and Muslins share this wonderful loving God. Read the bible and let the killing and raping begin!

There is no difference, other than Christian reporters are willing to tell the truth about Islam, but mask the root cause of similar Christian atrocities.

I'm sad when human beings commit violence towards one another in any context, including that of my religion. I am personally a pacifist so I think that makes me a bit different from more militant Christians and some extreme fundamentalists who do these things.

There's a HUGE difference: Sharia law and the "war verses" of the Koran would seem to support their actions (whether they *truly* do or not is dabateable). Christian brutality toward other people IS NOT supported by the Bible.

I'm a pretty fair minded person, but you've stepped over the line with your faulty analogy.
