I am getting into making my oun music. I can play piano by ear, can't read a note, and was wondering what would be a good step to making my oun music on the computer without knowing notes. I hear Adobe Audition and Acid Pro are both good but which is easier to learn if I am just starting out? I really don't want to by a cheap one since I will probably end up buying a better one later on. Should I get a cheaper one though to learn? Which one? Please help. Thanks.

I not sure exactly what you want. But, you can check out this link;

On the left there "Record Producer(s)" and "Music Writer(s)" I use these for just playing around to learn a little how these type programs work and I guess they cheap enough. but, not a Cuban Cigar either. Maybe more like Prince Albert in a can stuff. LOL!

You may want to look into a MAC. they are way better than windows for this stuff. You can get a keyboard that will hook up to the computer. When you play it will record what you play for playback. I know the MAC's can also print what you played on a staff so you can learn to read music, windows may be able to do that to but i've never seen it. Adobe is great at providing tutorials for there products.
