Belgium (FN) Browning BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle (Standard) Model (1 0f 18 different variations) Gas Operated, Blued Finish "Made in Belgium" marked with FN Proofs, 30-06 Caliber, 22" Barrel, Folding Rear Leaf-Style Sight. Light Roller engraving on receiver, Browning Grade I Wood Stock.
MSR was $675 Discontinued 1992

Current market value puts this grade Browning rifle at between $800 - $825 in excellent condition based on actual
condition of this firearm and 100% "Original" finish.

These particular rifles are bringing a premium due to the fact they are no longer made and that Browning has moved their production centers to Miroku, Japan. 30-06 is a particularly desireable caliber for these Belgium made firearms....

The value of this rifle varies from $360 (60% condition) to $780 (100% condition-new in box). This assuming you have a Grade I rifle. A Belgium rifle will have light scroll engraving on the receiver and be marked "Made in Belgium". There are also Grades II, III, IV and V, with more elaborate engraving, etc which can go North of $5000.
