Definitely the spontaneity. It's too much of a hassle to just run to Target if I need something now. I was craving starbucks the other day, and I was thinking "do I really want to get Matt's coat on, strap him into the car, hold him while I'm on line...."

It doesn't seem like a big deal, but he hates the car:( Its always a fight to get him into the carseat. Thank god for kid music!

My husband and I were both young and were married only a month before we found out we were pregnant. We now have three kids and I wouldn't trade them for anything or any amount of time. I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom and so there are times and days where I would love to just go on a date with my husband and that being able to be spontaneous. But then again I think about that we are still going to be really young when our kids are old enough to stay at home by themselves and so my husband who makes dates happen as much as possible makes it so that I can wait till they are older for the spontaneity to happen again.

I don't miss anything even if I tried to I wouldn't know what to miss I have been a mommy since I was 18 and I love every moment of it. So honestly I am oblivious to what I could have missed so I am good with what I missed.

I miss the luxury of being able to run errands and go to more than three places without doing 4 potty runs, 2 diaper changes, find the sippy cup 6 times, saying "poodlesticks" when I realize I forgot to pack a snack and now must find one, and getting two toddlers in and out and in and out and in and out of the carseats.

The spontaneity. I can still have fun it just takes planning now no more running out the door with some clothes shoved in a bag for the weekend.
