any help would be good in have access to photoshop but i dont want to add and make up color i want to restore it

How good are you at coloring? That's pretty much what you'll be doing. It will never look like it was tooken (tee hee) in color, though.

Let me see if I get you...first you cannot restore the color information from a digital image if you have already processed it as a b/w.

However, if you shot it as a RAW file and then converted it to a b/w digital image, then you can go back to your original RAW file to get back the color data.

Another way of looking at your question is that you just want to restore the color from a b/w image, which is not possible. You see, once an image is procesed into a b/w picture. All color data is removed, so getting it back would be impossible.

If it's taken in black and white, it will remain in black in white, unless you manually color it lol
You can only desturate a color photo to make it black and white, so my suggestion is to always shoot in color, and if you want a black and white photo, just desturate it. It's easier than bringing out the old crayolas lol and or photoshop color tools.

Ask someone (like myself) to colorize it. Sometimes there are hobbyists out there who will do it for free.

So, in answer to your question, No, there is no easy way to "restore" color to the pic.
