It really depends. I say Taiwan because its movie industry is more open towards the public. The entertainment industry in Taiwan gigantic. There are beauty pageants, game shows and idol shows that you can possibly join. In China you'll have to graduate with a certain performing degree most of the time. Major actors and actress also have performing degree in respective college in China. Doesn't mean you don't have a chance but it'll be easier in Taiwan to become an actress.

China's film industry is moving fast and a number of brilliant directors and actors are emerging.
On the other hand, Taiwan cinema is considered by many (myself included) as one of the best, if not the best, in what cinema has to offer. It is well established...
I only wish there were more movies available with English or French subtitles.
In my uneducated opinion, China's film industry has more potential due to the sheer size of its industry, but Taiwan may be an easier (relatively-speaking) place to start in the business.

Taiwan is easier but if you want to be an actress and become famous. . . definetly China. But I would choose Taiwan cuz i personally think it's better.

taiwan, if you're pretty. china if you have skillz, lol. have you seen the taiwan dramas?? people are really good looking, but watching them act pisses me off. and the new china actors are pretty skilled, but they are quite ugly. so i would recommend taiwan for starters.

well,Taiwan is apart of china.the one-china policy is known to everybody.please don't make such mistakes any more.
now,answer your question;if you really want to be an actress ,you can do it wherever if you like it.It doesn't,t matter where you are going to be an actress.and being actress in china is really difficult,but if you work hard ,you will on the road to success!
