The Salem witch trials happened at the end of the 1600's. How many people were actually killed, and how? Was this truly a result of Christian hysteria, Or where there underlying motives involved?

This was a Christian problem much like terrorism is an Islam problem. The truth is that it was a group of crazy people who used religion as an excuse to do bad things.
