well what did you do? if you don't come home after school they're probably going to be more pissed. just go home and deal with your punishment.

You can't run away from your problems. Things would only get worse.

Talk with them. If they had legitimate reason to ground you, you'll just have to deal with it.

When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

Edit: That seems like a pretty crummy reason to ground you, and the comments your dad made seem very much out-of-line, but running away wont help.
See if you can get into some family counselling. For your dad to make a comment like that, it's not the D he's concerned about. There's other stuff going on there that needs to be resolved.

if you think their p*ssed now ........don't do it
running away from home just because your grounded is wrong if you were being abused then i'd say call the athorties but that isn't the case
you must have done something for them to be so p*ssed
where would you go ? you won't get even for being grounded by running away
you may think that you have it bad trust me you don't even have a clue
i grew up in an extremely abusive home
my mother is mentaly unbalanced
it was so bad that i HAD to leave at 12,
yes 12 years old, because my life depended on it she tried to kill me more than once
i stayed with the sisters in a convent they protected me from my mother
i started working at 10
left at 12
got my first apt at 15
paid my way through private school( grammer, and high)
it was so hard but i do know that i was the exception to the rule
this isn't something that could be so easily done today
try talking to your father and mother
be respectful
no yelling, crying or tantrums
no accusations of how unfair they are
let me tell you that even if that doesn't work be thankful for them
in a few years you'll be off to college and out of the house do what you want then

ok running away isnt a solution...that will help you for the moment but in the long run it will make the problems worse...just go home after school with an open mind and try and be calm about everything because in the end you will get all of your toys back its not the end of the world just take a deep breathe and face the music its only temporary like his anger
something hopefully to keep in mind
:)

Lets see
there are choices

1st) If you run away...You need cash..you need a place...you need food to live as well.. clothing...can you reply rely on your friends? don't you think their parent would want you to get out since you've stayed there a long time? plus what if you parent report that you went missing? every parent loves their children. You are basically grounded because you parents wants to teach you. they don't hate you. they want you to become a better person. You only get one father and one mother..see do you really want to leave? somehow i know at your age...you can be a bit selfish..and sometimes when parents get mad at you all the time..you get sensitive. Maybe its your parents fault aswell for being to hard on you. but you see..YOU MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING BAD...It takes two to tango...

2) if you face the music...you sit home..bare the bordness..show your parents that your sorry..and that u've changed. help mom in the kicthen..or help dad on whatever he is doing..like gardening..show that you still love them. just be this way for while till your not grounded anymore..and since you had the grounded experience..dont be notty anymore

I don't know what you did, but honesty is the best policy. Go home and face the music. Running away will not solve the problem and you'll get in twice as much trouble. If you go home, your parents will trust you more than if you run. do the right thing.

I would face the music. It will show that you are mature enough to deal with what has happened. I would never tell a young person to not to go home after a fight with their parents. Show your parents that you can learn from your mistakes, and buck up. Take responsibility for what has happened.

Good luck on everything!

Well I think that you should stick around. What did you do that was so bad got you grounded in the first. I did not understand why my parents would ground me either but I know that they did it for the best. Now that I am 22 I understand why they did do all of things that they did for me.

WOW! your parents are crazy they grounded you for getting a D! That's stupid! a D it's still passing and you get credit for it.
it's not the end of the world. if you run away you'll get yourself in more trouble. Go home and just don't talk to them.

You better get home on the double. Whatever you did, must have violated the rules of your household. Be glad that you have parents, that care about your welfare. My mom would always tell me..."Wait until you become a parent". Hey, if you think that you can make it on your own, give it a try. I guarantee you'll be back home, sooner than you think :)
