The amazing thing about the KJV is that each translators work was checked and corroborated by others. Even if the rumors about Richard Thomson are true it would not have allowed the final version to become tainted.

And so what is the problem...the Bible is filled with people who are explicitly called evil and yet the prophets say this person is the instrument of God's purpose. You seem to subscibe to the view that God can't use someone without that person making it possible by their good behavior. The devil brought about Jesus death but God used him , unbeknownst to him. This is a glory not a reproach.

Not necessarily, but God uses all of us, even the "wine-bibber" and the "prostitute" - whom the Pharisees claimed Jesus should not be hanging around with.
