For men:

1. Beer bars along Sukhumvit
2. Go go bars at either Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza or Patpong
3. Massage parlors along Ratchadapisek Road and Petchaburi road.
4. MBK Center in Siam so you can say that you did something else besides 1 and 2 and 3, for souvenirs floors 6 and 7
5. Grand Palace, same as 4
6. The dome bar at the State Building for a couple drinks on the 67th floor, to remind you why you came to Bangkok. Prices are like the USA. View of Bangkok is awesome.
7. If you want to buy clothes, Platinum mall and Pratunam (Watergate) area just around the corner from MBK Center

If you are a woman: Take the above list and reverse it, skipping number 3, they won't let you in. The reason I would include the beer bars and discos. Just to see what kind of men actually go to these places. Hahahaha It could be enlightening.
