why do i keep having dreams of kitty litter boxes and kitty litter and i dont own a cat please no jokes.

CATS = Self willed, untrainable, predatory, stealthy, sneaky, deceptive, unclean spirit,..... (you get the idea).
LITTER BOX = (a bathroom in full view of others) A place to rid ones self of waste, toxins, things that make you ill, or should not be carrying around any longer. Publicly.
KITTY LITTER = Substance used to collect waste products.
Are you going through a season of "dumping" unwanted baggage, or should you be?
"Indeed God speaks once, or twice, yet no one notices it. In a dream, a vision of the night, when sound sleep falls on men, while they slumber in their beds, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction...." (The book of Job in the Bible).
The point being seek out God, and then listen carefully!

I dont have a lot of detail to work with, but I would say you may need to quit covering up all the bad things youre dealing with.
Litter in the sense of things on the floor, dirt, ect. indicates in dreams that you have a need for organization, cleaning up lifes messes and sorting out the issues.
I would stick with that, but add that you need to quit hiding the messes. Cats use litter by covering their mess up with it. You may need to face something you've been hiding.
My best guess for the info you gave.

My best guess is this is your desire to keep your environment clean but your efforts are wasted as no one uses the measures you set out, or hence you are vainly trying to hold back natural behaviours. Not a lot to go on so sorry I can't go further.
