okay......first buy apple cider vinegar for the folks high blood
pressure.
Go down the produce lane first....get some bananas, a bag of potatoes, an onion.
Buy some apples and carrots if on sale.
then buy some veggies down the can food lane like the
ones 2 or 3 for a dollar.
Then go in the meat department....buy some chicken, beef,
buy some cream of chicken if u want to make chicken
dumplings.
Buy cereal, milk, eggs, and little debbie cookies, juice
and soda pop and check out...unless u need shampoo,
or dish liquid. Buy your grandma some chewing gum.

I also do major once-a-week shopping at about 8:00 on Sunday morning. (I like to go early because no one else is there, and the few people who are there are usually regulars). This is when you stock up on soup, canned goods, pasta, cleaning supplies, cat food. All the things that have coupons. (Early Sunday morning also gives you time to cut the coupons. I grab them out of the newspaper and then we go eat breakfast so that I don't shop on an empty stomach, and cut out the coupons at the restaurant). You also need to do your fresh produce, milk, cheese, and meats at the same time. One evening in the middle of the week, go again to stock up on those perishable items to fill out the rest of the week. That way, nothing goes bad because you bought too much on Sunday.

Get all your coupons ready!
Sit and think of how much you eat in one day!
Buy what you need/use most when it is on sale
Even when you don't need it, if it is on sale for a good price stock up!
Go through and buy two of the cheapest brands!
Like Winn-Dixie or Wal-Mart brand things (of what you need)
Do your major shopping on Friday and go to the store once on like Tuesday or Wednesday but keep your goal to get what is needed without going over $35-40!
After a while of doing ^, you will not have to worry about what to get! Best of Luck! hope this helps!

Olive oil, a big bag of basmati rice, dried beans, canned low-sodium veggies (or frozen), wheat bread, pork loin cutlets, jars of minced garlic and ginger, curry powder, canned tuna in water, tortillas, a bag of salad mix, cottage cheese, low fat milk, light cream cheese, a bag of red onions, a 10 lb. bag of potatoes, celery, baby carrots, lemons, green onions, and a whole chicken. That could feed us for a week or 10 days. Oh, and freezer ziplocks for portioning and saving leftovers.
