My daughter just got her one year shots on monday. One of them was the measles and mumps and rubella vaccine. the doctor said that she might come down with a rash or bumps because of it. But now she has a diaper rash that goes into her inner thighs that looks like a burn. Is this normal?

Put some Desitin or A&D ointment on it. If that doesn't seem to do anything then it's another trip to the Doctor's office.

I would have expected it to show up on her arms or torso. If she doesn't have diaper rash, then this could be the rash the doctor was talking about.

Wait it out for 2 or 3 days, if it doesn't go away by then, head back to the doctor.
