To further clarify this. I work as a manager in retail. I had a customer come in 2 weeks and the item that he purchased was on sale. He informed me that there was laws that staes that he was entitled to a refund for the difference. I guess my real question is: Is there such laws (I have never heard of them if there are)

Does the store offer a reimbursement program? Many stores here in the US do. Ask them.

Only if the particular retailer involved offers such a program. There is no law covering this situation. Offering a refund in this situation is purely a choice by the retailer.

You can return the item with your receipt showing you paid full price and get your money back. Then buy it on sale
