for those who are not familar with Q, he is an omniscient, all-powerful being that we & human have encounter in our space travels. God is also omniscient, all-powerful being as u human mentioned. Maybe he is like Q?

Q was not omniscient - otherwise he would have known exactly what happened when he turned human and his stomach growled. Also, Q was not omnipresent. He came and went. God is both omniscient and omnipresent. No, God is not like Q. God is better.
