Slice your stew beef thin, marinade in sesame orange sauce - I think Lawrys' is the brand I use, then stir fry in a bit of oil. Throw in some sliced red, green, yellow, and orange peppers for about the last minute (you don't want the peppers to turn mushy) along with some more marinade and a dash or two of soy sauce. Serve over rice. Easy to make and so good! Very colorful on the plate, too.

stew meat makes a good soup. just have to cut the potato's smaller and carrots, add some canned veggies, corn, Green beans, peas, and a good bit of tomato sauce. put a handful of rice in the pot as i cooks. i don't know what the point of the rice is but my mom and grandma always either put a Lil rice or a few noodles. anyway the soup is real hearty and if u make it good and spicy it will clear up any cold. we are from Louisiana so we use Cajun seasoning blend by tony cachares but a good combo of garlic powder, salt, red and black pepper, paprika and onion powder should be a good seasoning blend.

My husband used to make stew beef with 1 medium tomato, 1 medium onion, and jalapenos to taste and when it was all done we would roll them in a tortia. It was so good but don't put more that 2 or 3 small jalapenos. Oh yea we also put shredded cheddar cheese in it. yummy.

Can I come for dinner! They both sound great! I like to make a dish I made up one day. I am retired and my wife still works so I cook during the week now. I take a crock pot and put 2 cans of crushed tomatoes in for starters. I take a pan and brown chop meat and after poring off the grease I add that to the sauce. Then I cut up links of Italian sweet sausage(hot if you prefer) and after browning in a pan I pore off the grease and add that to the sauce. I add sliced onions, bell peppers,Chopped up egg plant and crush fresh garlic and add to mix. Now I slow cook all day in crock pot and when my wife gets home from work , we have it over brown rice or rice of choice! It is great and every one that has tried it raves about it!

I say give yourself a break tonight and rest up and order out pizza then tommorow make whatever is the easiest for you. They will love it no matter what because home cooking always tastes better then take out which is what they will compare it to after eating the pizza :)
