Agree or not?
It would be wiser to not jump to conclusions or make assumptions regarding the R&S Muslims' silence until actually hearing from them their own thoughts?

And, Mohammad G, we get all kinds. I too embarrass myself enough, I cannot imagine doing it in front of the world the way they do.

I think the word you're looking for is "precedent".

If you'll recall the incident right BEFORE this one...concerning the girl who was raped and sentenced to 200 lashes and 6 months in prison...for BEING RAPED.

The common response was that she "instigated" and "caused" the rape.

And just how would it be "wiser" to keep quiet and NOT express outrage...until or even IF we "actually hear from them"? Silence is not an option.

So: don't agree.

I'm still waiting for them to speak up about the whole affair. Amazing how wonderfully quiet they all are.

It's not like we haven't experienced Muslim silence before. We know what it means.
