If this isn't proof that the global warming alarmists are a bunch of wackos, then it sure hints that they are a bunch of dupes.
Global warming? Yes, probably! Man made? Uncertain! Sun influenced? Absolutely, and the sun is so powerful compared to anything man can do that what the sun does will decide what happens on earth. Nothing man can do can override the power of the sun.

Bob: I have been a ham radio operator for over 40 years and because of that have long taken notice of the 11-year sunspot cycles because they affect long distance high-frequency radio transmissions. Right now we are at a sunspot minimum in the current cycle. In another 5-6 years we will be at a maximum. To claim that a current warming trend that exists during a sunspot minimum justifies the taking of action to correct a trend that likely covers several millenia seems to be rather short sighted, don't you think?

I've even heard the excuse that there are more touchbacks in the NFL this year because of global warming.
Warming temperatures, thinner air, less resistance. I should apply for a government grant to study the problem.......

This is why this is a lie. September 11, caused by GLOBAL WARMING? People will do anything out of fear before they think like human beings. Scaring people with misleading numbers and lies is taking advantage of ignorance. New York City won't flood in a disaster movie fashion. There will be plenty of time to make necessary changes. San Francisco and LA are moving closer together! What's a good scapegoat for a perfectly natural part of the ecosystem. GLOBAL WARMING!

Plenty of things are not caused by global warming. And there are many foolish stories in the media.
But that shouldn't cloud the fact that global warming has many effects, some of which are not obvious. And they will affect different areas differently.
For example, most all scientists agree that global warming will substantially alter where precipitation falls. So some areas that get about enough rain now will see floods, while others see droughts.
Not crazy, just simple science.
And CO2 is overpowering CHANGES in the Sun. The Sun has actually been decreasing, while temperatures go up. Proof:

Most of the links given in the list are to Blogs, those that aren't are to Internet news sites. There is not a single peer reviewed article linked or mentioned anywhere. Thus, I am compelled to laugh at anyone who takes it seriously.

I don't have time to go through all the articles he linked to his site, but it's funny just to skim through the names of the articles.
I'm 42 years young and I was in eigth grade when I did a paper on Solar Energy to Power our homes. Okay, think about it folks that was nearly 30 years ago and not very many people have done that. You people that believe this is a crisis are crazy little sheep. And I think you need to study history and Earth Science.
Edit: Thank you I'm Here, it's pretty darn cold up here this morning.

Once Al Gore stops living in a huge mansion, and travelling by private jet, and basically consuming more energy than an average of 5-6 families and walking the walk versus just spouting off at the mouth and self promoting then I"ll change my behaviour as well.

THANKS FOR REMINDING ME !!! I was busy and forgot to make my carbon footprint this morning .
O.K., to atone for my forgetfulness, I will take a break, ride to the back pasture, and urinate on a weed!!!
Hell, I'LL do better than that, I won't ride, I'LL DRIVE, and make 2 carbon footprints !!!!
I am just trying to help those poor souls who live way up in yankeeland, warm up the atmosphere, so they won't have to buy so much heating fuel, this winter.
