I am ashamed to say both my boys are addicted to TV. Both my 1 and 2 year old love Brum - a huge favourite, especially with my younger son. Play With Me Sesame is their other favourite. They could watch these shows all day long if I let them! For some reason that is beyond me my 2 year old really loves Boohbah and Teletubbies! I think they are strange but he gets quite excited when they come on. He tries to say the name of one of the Boohbahs - "Zing Zing Zing Bah" - but it comes out funny!
My 2 year old has just started to like Thomas The Tank Engine. Showing an interest in Bob The Builder but won't watch the whole thing. We see Fifi here too but my boys aren't into it (is it a girly thing?). He also seems to like (to a lesser extent) Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam, Bananas in Pyjamas and Postman Pat. We get a lot of shows from overseas here. I think the ones from England (apart from Sesame Street) are the best.
There are a lot of shows like this early in the morning and that is when I let them watch for a little while, and also when my 2 year old is eating or he gets fidgety and won't eat!

My 2 year old loves Dora The Explorer, Peppa Pig, Balamory, Postman Pat, Bob The Builder, Thomas The Tank Engine and most of the CBeebies progs but her favourite is Boo! Funnily enough she doesn't like In The Night Garden but then again I'm 37 and I don't understand it!!!! My 1 year old son just watches whatever his sister allows him to watch.

My 2 year old son has always loved Pocoyo (citv) but he's currently into cbeebies with Boogie Beebies, Tweenies and Numberjacks.
I have to say in defence of us parents who let our children watch tv - because I know some parents think its bad to do so - that my son has learnt to count to ten in Spanish (from Dora), he knew all his shapes and colours from a very young age and he can read numbers to the point where I can ask him to dial a number on the telephone (thank you Numberjacks)!!
Particularly with being able to read numbers (and a few letters), he wouldn't have had the concentration span for me to sit down and teach them to him but he has naturally picked them up from watching certain programmes.
He can also use some sign language from watching 'Something Special' on cbeebies.
Personally though, I love Peppa Pig!!

My son is 3 and a half....2 months ago he was content with In the Night Garden and Peppa Pig...now it has to be Ben 10, Power Rangers and sccoby doo! Fifa used to be one he watched but I think he thinks its more for girls.
